Matchbox Collection Freight times

We hope this message finds you well and that you had a great time this holiday season.
If you haven’t seen the unboxing of the Matchbox Collection, be sure to check our previous update!
As many of you know, it is super hard to plan freights and shipments during this time of the year, but we have been working hard to organize everything as best as we could, with the amazing help from our manufacturer and our freight forwarding company.
Panda finished assembly of all the games on December 26th, and a couple of weeks prior to that we were searching for all the necessary vessels in order to send the games to each of our fulfillment centers. It has been a really difficult process, as space is so limited this time around and furthermore prices skyrocketed up to three times the usual rate.
We are very grateful for the amazing partner we have, who has spent time talking and arranging with us until late at night to find the space we needed. We are happy to communicate that we managed to book and reserve the vessels that are departing soon! Here is all the information that was shared with us.
EUROPE
Status: Shipment has been picked up. Export customs clearance will be done today.
Vessel departure: Shenzhen 2021-1-3
Vessel arrival: Barcelona 2021-1-27
USA
Status: Will be picked up tomorrow from the manufacturer.
Vessel departure: Shenzhen 2021-1-1
Vessel arrival: Jacksonville 2021-2-15
AUSTRALIA
Status: Will be picked up tomorrow from the manufacturer.
Vessel departure: Shenzhen 2021-1-4
Vessel arrival: Adelaide 2021-1-29
CHINA
Status: Waiting for the factory confirmation for the pickup time.
Vessel departure: pending

For China, it takes around 3 days to arrive at the fulfillment center. This time around we are not waiting for the fulfillment to happen at the same time, so shipments to Asia will start as soon as VFI will be available.
The freight forwarder communicated that due to the current situation the dates could slightly change. We will keep you updated if any vessels get delayed.
As usual, we will be sharing tracking numbers of the vessels and containers for you to follow the shipments as soon as we receive them.

This message is to let you know that mass production is now over and our manufacturer is working on the assembly, which should last around 1 or 2 weeks.
We received our mass production copy! We hope you will enjoy the video.

Hello travelers!
We hope this message finds you well.
The production of the Matchbox Collection is almost done and we will be able to show you the final look of the games in our next update, hopefully, next week.
This update is to let you know that in 48h we will be finalizing all your pledges and addresses to prepare everything in order to organize the freight while Panda works on assembly.
You should receive an email from Backerkit shortly to notify you about the locking of your pledges.
Make sure your address is updated, considering that you should receive your copies around mid-January.
There are only 77 backers pending to complete their orders. We will be reaching out to you personally to remind you about this, to make sure we can fulfill all of the orders together.

Hello travelers!
We hope this message finds you well and thank you for your patience while waiting for news from us.
This week, we have been discussing with Panda about all the manufacturing and all the logistics involved. We totally understand that we are manufacturing 5 games at the same time and we understand the complications of human error.
They have communicated to us the following which we decided to support and accept without asking them to rush it for us.
The production for the Matchbox Collection is ending around November 15th. They will be sending us a final manufactured copy of the games which we will be able to unbox in a video and show it to you in the next update.
Assembly time will take 2-3 weeks, which means the games will be ready to pick up during the first week of December. The assembly of the games will work as follows.
This means that depending on Freight time, fulfillment will be around the 2nd week of January.
Although this is a difficult announcement to make, we are almost there and we are glad to be sending the games to you as soon as possible.

Tomorrow at 20:30 CET / 14:30 EST we will be doing a live stream to discuss all the production processes of the Matchbox Collection and play some games. In our Boardgame Jam, we will also talk about the micro-game that you will be able to download for free as a print & play. Hello travelers!
We hope this message finds you well. It has been 3 weeks since our last update. If you missed it, be sure to read it. We showed photos of the metal coins, mockups of the corrections, shared wallpapers based on the playmats of the games, and gave our new ETA.
Mass production for the Matchbox Collection started a couple of weeks ago. We are waiting for additional instructions from Panda to understand when they will finish the project.
On another note, we have decided to manufacture the shipping cartons that will contain the games we will be shipping to you directly. One for the base pledge and one for the deluxe. This way we will make sure that everything will fit comfortably and secured inside your shipping boxes and you will know it’s us as soon as you see the package arriving!

Pledge Manager and addresses
We have around 300 pending orders, the majority of which are 1€ pledges and failed pledges of Kickstarter that had a second chance to update the payment method during our Bazaar.
Next week we will be automatically canceling the 1€ and 0€ pledges to prepare for exporting your details to arrange fulfillment.
We really appreciate all of your help towards this matter to make this Kickstarter project our most successful one in terms of organization and fulfillment.
